36th Annual Internation Bridge Building Contest
In late April, Squalicum High School students Aurora Leeson (center above) and Tucker Stone (right) attended the 36th Annual International Bridge Building Contest at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. The students represented the western Washington region and both placed in the top 20 out of 56 bridges from across the country and world. Leeson placed 9th overall and Stone placed 19th. Jeff Tetrick (left), who also made the trip to the Midwest, is their teacher and advisor. |
