What is the SQHS Environmental Club?

  • The SQHS Environmental Club is an active service club.
  • We meet every Wednesday, or Tuesday if there’s an early release or work party day
  • A few of the things we do include:
    • Picking up recycling around the school
    • We’re in partnership with the Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association, and once a month we go out and help clean up and improve a site. This year’s site is Squalicum Creek
    • We will be attending the Youth Earth Summit (YES) Conference on December 7th
    • We are participating in the Imagine Tomorrow Energy Competition hosted by the Washington State University in May
    • Lunch Trash Sorting
    • Making our school more green!
