Music

The Squalicum High School Music Program is a vibrant, student-centered community where musicians grow as performers, collaborators, and leaders. Our program offers a wide range of ensemble and academic opportunities, including Band, Orchestra, Choir, Guitar, Mariachi, Percussion, and Music Theory, allowing students of all experience levels and interests to find a place to belong and thrive.

Squalicum musicians perform regularly at school concerts, assemblies, and community events, and collaborate across ensembles to create meaningful, high-quality performances. Our students are active throughout the San Juan region and frequently participate in regional and state-level honor ensembles, festivals, and music events.

More than anything, the Squalicum Music Program is a welcoming and supportive environment. Students build lasting friendships, develop confidence, and experience the joy of making music together.

We invite you to join our community and be part of something meaningful! Whether you’re trying out music for the first time, or you’ve been in music for years, we welcome all levels and would love to have you join our program. Contact any of our music teachers with questions:
